All-in-one creative suite combining AI and premium stock assets. Designers, marketers, and creators can generate and edit images, videos, and more with ease.
Freepik is a creative platform packed with AI tools and a vast collection of stock images, videos, templates, and icons. Launched in 2010 by Alejandro Sánchez, Pablo Blanes, and Joaquín Cuenca, it started as a simple search engine but changed into a full design resource hub.
Freepik keeps adding AI-driven tools to make design work easier, whether you're a pro or just starting.
Freepik is constantly growing its features to help creators work faster and better. Whether you’re a designer, marketer, or content creator, it’s got tools to bring your ideas to life.
Ideogram Character is now open for all plans. You can make a character using a photo as a reference.
Go to the AI Image Generator and pick Character. Click Create character then choose Image reference. Upload your photo and add the details you want. Then go back to the AI Image Generator and start making stuff.

This list may not be exhaustive as new models keep dropping and are added to platforms all the time.
People using Freepik AI have a mix of opinions. Some love the tools, saying it's the best AI purchase they've made, while others feel some features don’t work as expected. The image generator and upscaler get a lot of praise, but video generation and some design tools still need work.
What Users Like:
Great value for money. Many users say the subscription is worth it, especially with discounts.
AI models improving fast. The Flux 1.1 Pro and Mystic models are well-received for high-quality images.
Custom Styles and Characters. People appreciate the ability to create unique styles and consistent character designs.
Reimagine and Sketch to Image. Users find these tools useful for creative workflows.
Upscaler is a standout. Many say this feature alone makes Freepik worth it.
What Users Don't Like:
Video generation is slow and unreliable. Some say it takes much longer than expected or fails frequently.
Interface is messy. A few users complain that the UI on both web and mobile is confusing.
Style consistency is lacking. Artists trying to generate work in specific styles (cubism, expressionism, etc.) say the AI struggles to stay true to those styles.
Some editing tools feel limited. Features like turning an image into "clay style" don't work as expected.
The Expand tool needs work. Some users notice lighting inconsistencies when expanding images.
After using Freepik AI heavily for a month (burning through 100k+ credits), it’s clear the platform has a lot to offer. Mystic 2.5 is the standout model for realistic fantasy images, beating Flux realism hands down. Text-to-image tools are top-tier, and character reference training is solid, though pricey at 5,500 credits. The upscaler and expand feature work flawlessly, making Freepik a great tool for high-quality images.
Video generation is decent but inconsistent. Freepik offers multiple models like Kling, Luma, and Hailuo, but results vary. Kling 1.6 is great for natural motion, but lip sync is still hit-or-miss and generates glitches. Some video tools perform better on their original platforms, making Freepik’s version feel limited.
Inpainting and Sketch-to-Image are useful but not game-changing. Inpainting works best on the quick setting, and sketch-based image generation produces decent results. Adding multiple characters to an image is frustrating—you have to generate one, then manually inpaint the rest.
Biggest annoyances? AI moderation and video bugs. The system overblocks NSFW content, making even basic fight scenes impossible. There’s also a video folder bug where newly generated content appears broken until you refresh the page.
Despite these issues, Freepik AI is worth it—especially if you need high-quality images fast. Mystic 2.5 alone makes it a great pick for fantasy artists. If you’re unsure, start with the cheapest plan and see if it fits your needs.
A speeding self-driving lime-green with black details SUV barrels through a congested city street under harsh midday sunlight, the camera tracking low and fast along its side as it swerves out of control. The shot whips upward in a dramatic crane move just as it violently collides at speed with an old looming gas tanker, making a dent and triggering an explosion and a colossal fireball that engulfs the block in roaring flames. Shards of glass and chunks of debris streak past the lens, filling the frame with blistering chaos. The impact reverberates through the street, nearby vehicles jolting from the shockwave. The camera then pulls high into an aerial view, revealing the burning wreckage and frantic motion of the chaotic scene below.
A hand comes in and quickly flips open the book. As the pages split, paper shapes start popping up from both sides tall balloon baskets and big round balloons in red, yellow, and purple. The pieces fold out and snap in place, showing a small pop-up world of hot air balloons floating above tiny 3D houses with orange roofs, green trees, and rolling hills and a couple of black-face sheep grazing the high grass. There's a clear river flowing through the middle. It shines under soft light and winds past everything, with little ripples and shiny spots. The camera stays low slowly orbiting around the miniature world, with smooth lighting and sharp handmade surfaces. The balloons keep rising till they float out of the frame. River keeps flowing and sheep slowly moving around
The camera starts low at woman's feet and performs an aggressive whip tilt upward as she subtly pivots. Smooth bluish-grey marble rapidly forms over her feet and climbs upward, consuming her legs. Fine fracture lines spread through the stone, glowing from within with molten gold light that pulses and shimmers beneath the surface. Small fragments chip away, revealing brighter gold energy inside.
Midway through the tilt, as the marble reaches her waist, her arms snap outward into a rigid sideways pose, captured in sharp motion blur. The transformation spreads across her torso, with luminous gold veins flickering beneath the bluish-grey marble, casting subtle warm highlights.
The camera continues upward, landing in a tight close-up as her chin jerks slightly upward. Her eyes widen just before the marble overtakes her face, sealing her expression instantly into polished stone. Faint glowing gold cracks remain visible beneath the surface, emitting a soft shimmer with tiny drifting particles.
Sharp motion streaks trail the movement as everything locks into stillness.
A sudden crash zoom-out reveals her full body as a complete bluish-grey marble statue threaded with internal gold veins. Small fragments break off and fall while fine dust and glowing particles drift slowly in the air, catching soft studio light.

First-person action movie. The subject wields a large heavy-caliber handgun (Desert Eagle–style), dominating the frame with strong recoil and sharp, controlled shots. Intense handheld POV rushes into a decaying hydroelectric plant overtaken by the Amazon—vines splitting concrete, roots tearing through turbine halls, humid air thick with spores and mist. The camera weaves fast between collapsed generators, rusted machinery, and hanging moss, green light cutting through shattered skylights.
Enemies emerge at close range from control panels and ficus-covered walls, firing rapidly. The subject snaps aim and returns clean, hard shots. The camera whips into a flooded corridor of waist-high reeds; one enemy is smashed with the pistol butt, then the subject slides behind a toppled, overgrown cooling unit to reload. A glass monitoring booth explodes in sparks and spores, instantly swallowed by vegetation.
Near the end, the subject charges up a crumbling metal stairwell, sprinting upward while firing at enemies above. Heavy footsteps slam rusted, moss-slick stairs as debris scatters. At the top, the subject kicks open a buckled blast door and bursts onto an overgrown cooling tower crown, firing at the final enemy on a collapsing walkway. Endless jungle canopy stretches behind under a bruised overcast sky.
Ends with a chain explosion tearing through the structure, smoke rising into grey cloud as nature consumes everything. Clean action, readable choreography, sharp impact.

Bullet time effect: subject frozen, environment slowly animated. This lady in high heel shoes with a white cat in her hands, seen frozen while leaping from roof to another roof as the world seems slowly crumbling around her: earthquake, destruction, debrees in the air, fires in background and smoke. As camera moves around frozen mid-air woman, we see a crashing plane going down with engine fire, whole focus on her, her skirt somewhat ripped to accomodate her wide jump, shallow depth of field, Cinematic, overcast dramatic lighting, wide angle lens distortion. On left in background on the roof is a blurred sign reading "AIcreators.tools". Cinematic bullet-time soundscape: deep low-frequency drone, time-stretched fire crackle and distant explosions, soft airy whooshes and fabric movement, subtle high-frequency shimmer/tension tone, muffled background chaos

This model of Kling seems best suited for the task, however camera settings seem to be inconsistent producing varying effects from one gen to another, this one was done in conjunction with 'Arc' motion, however in other gens with same settings camera behaved differently
This model is 'getting there', much stronger than 2.5 but its successor 3.0 does this with superior understanding. This one is unable to overcome uniformity in crowds. But freeze-time effect and POV is already solid.
Not sure why the quality id so degraded but the physics and prompt understanding, the whole freeze-time implementation is good. Using Sora 2 Fast model.
Come on, Pixverse, added ' very ' to the 'slowly' in the prompt, even 'smoothly' later - yet your 'very slowly' camera motion is still racing fast. No matter if I say 'left' or 'right' the swan is always moving right and often gets cut out quite soon.

Use coupon code BLACK25ADS on Freepik for 50% off annual plans & fewer credits per video. Offer valid until Nov. 27.
Freepik clarifies, that the annual plan already has a built-in 37% discount. For Black Friday, instead of giving a full 50% on top of that, they just add enough to hit a total 50% off the base monthly rate.
They're saying the Black Friday deal gives you 50% off compared to paying monthly for a full year. So it’s not 50% off the already-discounted yearly plan... it’s 50% off the total you'd pay if you went month-to-month for 12 months.
